Dr. Charlotte CABANNE

Dr Charlotte Cabanne obtained her PhD in 2000 and became Associate Professor of the Bordeaux School of Biotechnology (ENSTBB) in 2005. She belongs to the team Structure and Activities of Biological Macromolecules at the Institute of Chemistry and Biology of Membranes and Nano-objects (CBMN, CNRS UMR 5248) directed by Pr. X. Santarelli. Her research fields are related with biochromatography and more particularly she is specialized in protein purification process development. She studies especially mixed mode chromatography and is the author of numerous publications in this field. She is involved in academic or industrial partenerships around bioproduction and purification (Ceva Santé animale, Biolaffort,..). In 2017, she created the platform BioProcess Center Bordeaux (BPCB, ENSTBB, Bordeaux-INP) for which she is scientific leader. This platform provides laboratories and companies with the equipment and scientific expertise for custom protein bioproduction and purification.
