Rosario R. Martinez Garcia received her graduation in Chemical Engineering in 1993 in Higher  Polytechnic Institute Jose A. Echeverria (ISPJAE, Cuba) and her MSc in biotech process technology in 1997 at ISPJAE and Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (CIGB, Cuba). From her graduation, she has been working at Molecular immunology Center. A Cuban Biotechnology Institution devoted to basic research, product development and production of mammalian cell culture products in compliance with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations. She was head of purification production area and pilot facility at Biotech Ltd. China during 5 years in charge of Nimotuzumab production, monoclonal antibody used in treatment for advanced head and neck cancer tumor and others development products. Currently she is head of the vaccines production facility at EPOVAV direction in CIM, her main activity are related with bioproductions supervisor of fermentation and downstream processes. In her facility are produced ior EPOCIM, Vaxira and NeuroEPO, new product related with neurodegenerative diseases.
